I quickly caught "dance & illusive". I saw Tatyana Markovtsev's "Feel The Line" artworks to illustrate your words. How do you see those lines dancing your words? Do you feel as I, a reality that can be both clearly grasped and remain illusive?

Also, your title got me thinking...
"When all else fails"? Is dance your ultimate communication resource?

In answer to your question...

For me, when I dance or move expressively, I am speaking to myself, touching and expressing deeper feelings which I am not necessarily aware of in my daily life.

Is it ultimate? I don't know.

I often find that asking a question is to answer it. So is the case in this questions and answers on the trail of your title, When All Else Fails.

I believe awareness is the key and movement is fundamental to awareness, ultimately, dances.

This dance quote from Kairos Dance Theatre reflects acutely how ultimate is movement: "It's hard to stay stuck when you're moving"

The Sacred Dance Guild in its motto, "Dancing the Sacred, Moving the World...", reflects how dancing movements help us to connect the dots towards ultimate awareness...
